Valley of Dolls Zine Giveaway

Valley of Dolls Zine
Hello there, my darlings. I have something delightful to share with you. I just received a bundle of Valley of Dolls zines in the mail. I have an interview in there, and the lovely publisher sent me a few copies to share with you.
This zine is just jam packed with dolly awesomeness. Oh, this zine. Where do I start? Valley of Dolls is put together by the very talented Su Mwamba of Tanglecrafts. Have you visited her blog? Or her shop? Both are so much fun. She even has put together a club.
Valley of Dolls Zine
There's a cute piece of Matrushka cotton on the cover, and a piece of felt, so you can make your own little Matrushka doll. There are actually four different doll tutorials in this book. There are also interviews, book reviews, and plenty of lovely illustrations.

SO, what can you do to win a copy of your very own?
Leave a comment, my dears!
Make sure I have some way of contacting you (Email, Etsy, Twitter, whatever.)
I’ll pick the winners by random number generator next Wednesday, the 15th. I've got FOUR copies to give away. Woot!

*Want extra chances to win? Okay, we can do that.

Pug Pattern and Giveaway!

With little miss Olive on the scene, things have been changing left and right. I've had to try new things...like sleeping in two hour shifts, Vicodin, and crafting in tiny snatches of time.
I've had to change the way I do...well, everything. To that end, instead of making tons of my new favorite plushie, I made a .pdf pattern.
Plush Pug Pattern
I've created patterns before, but this is my first .pdf. You guys, I had SO much fun making this thing. Olive willing, I might just make more patterns.
I'd love to hear what you think. And better yet, I'd love to hear what you might like to see made into a pattern! To that end, it's giveaway time!
I'm giving away THREE copies of the new pattern. To be entered to win, just leave a comment below telling me what you'd like to see made into a pattern. It can be anything, and it might just wind up being the next thing I work on!
Make sure I have some way of contacting you (Email, Etsy, Twitter, whatever.)
I'll pick the winners by random number generator next Thursday, the 18th.
Go forth and comment!

The Road to 500 Giveaway...Announcing the Winner!

Thanks very much to everyone who left a comment on the giveaway! All 242 of you. So many of you said such sweet things, too. (I may have to make giveaways a regular part of this site!)
Enough with the preamble! Who won?
Well, according to Random.org, it is:

Commenter #3! Julia! Congratulations! I'll be emailing you shortly.

Again, thank you everyone who entered the contest. I hope you'll stick around the blog awhile. (Monday's post? All about must have Etsy resources. There *may* also be a free Blythe pattern later in the week...)

I didn't quite make it to 500 Etsy sales this week, which is actually good news for you. Currently, I'm at 498. (Soooo close!) I am still giving away a little extra surprise gift with every purchase, until we hit sale #501. So hop on over to AbsolutelySmall.etsy.com if you still have a Chickenpants jones.

The Road to 500 Giveaway!

Chickenpants Gift Pack
I am approaching a very exciting milestone in my Etsy shop, and of course I need to blab about it.
500 sales, baby. (And it's only taken me...um...almost four years!)
In the grand tradition of internet accomplishments, I'm celebrating this one with a giveaway. I'll be giving away a Chickenpants gift pack: One Chickenpants, one carrier pouch, and one hat & scarf set. Even better? You get to choose which ones you want. Yes, there will be a tiny bit of small print. Follow the asterisk!*

How can you win this bundle of awesome? All you need to do is leave a comment on this post. I'll pick a winner by random number generator on December 17th (that's this Friday!) International commenters are welcome! I'll ship anywhere.

BUT WAIT, THERE IS MORE:
You eagle eyed readers may have noticed that I said "approaching" 500 sales. In other words, I'm not quite there yet. (As of this writing, the shop is at 493 sales.) Every sale between right now and sale #501 get a special extra somethin' somethin' tucked in. Maybe a Chickenpants baby. Maybe a sticker book. Maybe a postcard set. I don't know. It's a SURPRISE. Something good, for sure!

*Here's the wee print: If you win, you get to pick your favorite Chickenpants, carrier pouch, and hat & scarf set from any that are currently in the shop. No special orders, silly. I am waaaay too pregnant for that kind of nonsense right now. The Chickenpants must be one of the regular (i.e. $20) ones. And, um, that's it. Small print over. Now go leave a comment.

We have winners!

Random.org has spoken! The winners are:

Congratulations, 11, 9 and 4! I will be emailing you.
(pssst...I'm also running a Chickenpants giveaway over on the fan page. Leave a comment to be entered!)

I kind of hate this part, because I wish everyone could win. But fear not! If you weren't one of the lucky ones this time around, you can still pick up your very own copy of Craft Leftovers. It's one of the most fun things you can do with $7.00! I hope you'll check it out. It's hands down my favorite zine, and not just because I get to write for it sometimes. Receiving Craft Leftovers in your mailbox is like a friend visiting. A crafty, inspiring friend, who brings you treats and you know you'll have a great time with.

Who wants to win October's Craft Leftovers Zine?

You do!
Craft Leftovers Monthly October 2010
This month's zine is all about cozying into fall. There's a pattern for knitting your own mittens, a tutorial on making a bird house, and even a mini zine tucked inside! (Made by Su Mwamba, an awesome zinester who happens to have an interview in this issue, too!) For my part, I've written up two tried and true, quick and easy, down and dirty soup recipes. (Okay, they're not down or dirty. What's another cliched two word phrase I could have used?) And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Check out the full writeup on Craft Leftovers.

AND! Kristin, Queen of Craft Leftovers has generously given me not one, not two, but THREE! copies to give away to you lovely readers. Since I just moved this blog, I'm thinking your chances of scoring one are excellent.

Just leave a comment below to be entered to win. I'll pick the winners next Wednesday, the 10th by random number generator.

(For extra chances to win, tweet about this post! Or blog about it! Or mention it on Facebook! Whatever! For every thing like that you do, come back and leave one extra comment. This is totally unnecessary, but I'd appreciate it. ^_^)
