- 09:36 For the LOVE OF PETE. I've received two betting digests in the mail in two days. AND I DON'T EVEN GAMBLE. What is going on?
- 09:47 *deep breaths* What I meant to say was, I miss coffee. I think I may have some. Though I shouldn't.
- 18:48 Finally posted to blog: The Ab Small End Of Summer Bath & Body Review: absolutelysmall.blogspot.com - Hooray for vapid stuff!

The Absolutely Small Bath & Body Review for the End of Summer
My, my. I think that may just be the longest blog post title ever.
Anyway! I love girly type products. I really love them. Fragrances, shower gels, bubble bath, hair treatments...you name it, I probably adore it and have five or six of them lying around.
I thought it might be fun to share some of the great stuff I've found and been using lately. (And some of the losers!)
A little disclaimer: I am not being paid to review this stuff. It's all just things I've bought and used myself. So there. Unbiased product reporting. Good times.
First up: Face
I've been very happy with Spa Therapy Works' Velvet Face. It doesn't make my super fragile skin freak out, and a little bit goes quite a long way. Nice.
Fragrance:
I've been on a fragrance kick all summer. It may be some sort of illness. Who started it? I put the blame squarely on KLEAN Bath & Body.
I was at the table next to her at Maker Faire, and she hooked me then with her incredible, unique fragrances. I highly recommend the Tangy Watermelon and Very Vanilla scents.
I also must share with you Super Bad. This Etsy perfumier has wonderfully titled (and wonderful smelling) perfumes, such as Vacation on a Pirate Ship. (Which I have and use quite often) She makes really unique fragrances. Just excellent.
Body:
Oh, Gudonya Too's Whipped Clean Body Wash, how I do love thee. I tried the Spa Fusion scent- utterly wonderful. A wee bit goes a long way, too. My container lasted about two months. Not bad.
Hair:
Shockingly...Sunsilk Summer conditioner. It works miracles on frizzed out hair. And it's super cheap. One thing I would change about it is the fragrance- with a better scent, this would be the best conditioner ever. Or at least in the top 10. It's only available at Target, and apparently only during the summer.
And as for things I've bought which didn't quite make the cut, the first thing that comes to mind is Organix Self Heating Coconut Oil. As far as I can tell, it does nothing. At all. But, it does smell wonderful.
That's it! If you have a favorite product to recommend, by all means leave a comment below. Have a great weekend, everyone!

New Chickenpants Limited Featuring Ninjapants
Here we are, nearing the end of August. Which mean it is past time for the new Chickenpants Limited!
This time, I have two shots from the same photo shoot. I couldn't possibly decide between them, so here we have the CP Limited for August and September, respectively. And both of them feature the Ninjapants.
So, here's August: Ninjapants Attack!

And here's September: Ninjapants in the Plants

They're both up in the shop now. Hooray! (I am high five-ing myself right now for finally getting this done.)

Fruit, loops
Just a quick little post to share with you these little pompom fruits that I made.

Taste the rainbow?

I'm not quite as far a long today as I wish I was. I totally planned on having to wait and wait and wait at the Doctor's. I brought along my sketchbook thinking I could finally have some time to start storyboarding the next Chickenpants adventure. But instead, they whisked me in and got everything over with in record time. I've never been disappointed at not having to wait before. This is new.

The worst thing to ever happen to my drawing?
.jpg)
OK, look. I'll come clean. You may recall that I used to post drawings and paintings to this site rather frequently. Of course, you also might not, as it has been awhile. You might be saying to yourself, "Wait. She draws?" Yes. She draws. Or at least she used to. And actually, she should still be. Why does it matter? Because of THIS. The SFG blank book.
It is coming for me.
When they accepted me to be a part of this along with so many other amazing artists that I admired, I was thrilled. Then terrified. I thought to myself "I had better learn how to draw now." Because apparently what I was doing when they accepted me was not so much drawing. So, for no coherent reason, I decided to START OVER. My years of drawing counted for nothing in my mind, and I set about to relearn it all.
This was a bad idea for several reasons. 1.) I hate to be bored. I will not stick with things if they're boring. I had already done all this several times before, hence the boredom. 2.) Did I mention I already knew how to draw? 3.) And that perhaps honing my skills might have been more appropriate than scrapping them all? 4.)Then I started buying new drawing tools to ease the boredom and trick myself into drawing...
5.) Money spent on new drawing goodies: A LOT. Drawings done: ALMOST NONE.
I can't get my mind to slow down and get into the zone of drawing. True, this is partly due to many other things zooming around in my life. But also, it is partly due to the red alert in my own mind all the time "THE SFG BLANK BOOK IS COMING FOR YOU! THIS HAD BETTER BE A GOOD DRAWING! OR ELSE!"
For. The. Love. Of. Pete!
So...here I am. It's been several months since posting any drawings to the SFG site (or any other site, for that matter). I am woefully out of practice. And the Blank Book is only eight people away from me.
If any of you have magic wands or butt kicking abilities and can assist with some words of wisdom or...anything, really, it'd be appreciated. Because, oh, the horror!

Such as this little cutie:

Introducing Wee Buns!
Hello folks!
I have something cute to share with you- my favorite sort of thing to share with people. (Oh! And! Also, I am getting a new tiny camera today specifically so I can record cute things on the go and then draw them & hopefully share them with you, again. What fueled this camera buying insanity? Seeing massive hordes of tiny, but fat grey and black birds in a Lucky parking lot this weekend and NO CAMERA with which to prove they even existed at all! It was the most magical thing I ever saw. I post, therefore, I am.)
*end digression now*
Ta- da! Wee Buns! They're roughly Wee Goat sized, but they have one staggering leg up on the competition:

Pompom tails!
I made several of them for the Cabrillo show, and most of them decided that Santa Cruz was such a nice place that they'd live there instead of with me in the mountains. (To which I was all "Fine! Be that way!")

But this little cutie actually did come home with me- Dusty. So I promptly put him up for adoption. (It's his tail featured up top)

Annnd that's it for today. I have a few albino (!) Wee Buns yet to photograph, but I can't wait to show them to you, too.
Believe it or not, tommorrow I will find myself on the road AGAIN...and amazingly enough, not for a show this time!

Nnnghhh - and a new bird to share
So, I seem to have caught a cold at the Cabrillo Music Fest. Other than that, it was wonderful! And I now need to seriously re-plush my shop. (thank you all very much!) And there are things I would like to share with you. For example, Music Is Art recently posted a little bit about me and a play list I picked out. Yay! (Although the site doesn't seem to load at all in Firefox. Still, yay!)
Also, I've posted a new bird in the shop- Samuel.

Samuel actually was at PLUSHED (Er, if I'm remembering what show he was at correctly. He was definitely out at some plush art show though.)

And also, we seem to have sailed right past the 500 blog post mark! How did that happen? I think we'll have to have a little giveaway soon to celebrate...just as soon as I can wrap my head around a cohesive sentence.
